Connections Class: Exploring Membership at MVBC

What does MVBC believe about spiritual gifts? What does it mean to truly belong to a local church? The Connections class is where those questions are answered—and where visitors become family.

At Magic Valley Bible Church, we believe church involvement goes far beyond Sunday attendance. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us not to neglect meeting together, but to be deeply committed to one another in the body of Christ. Membership reflects that commitment.

ACBC Biblical Counseling

The Bible clearly outlines that all Scripture is useful for teaching, for correction, and for training in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16). So how does that practically work? In an effort to equip the local church to give sound, biblical counsel to a lost and dying work, this class is a launch-point for ACBC (The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) certification.

As believers, we understand clearly that Christ is King; but what kind of kingdom is He ruling right now? This class seeks to walk through the entire Bible and discover how the Kingdom of God functions throughout redemptive history, and into the future.

One of the most sanctifying relationships that people have is their marriage; living side-by-side with another individual (another sinner like yourself) can present unique challenges. This class will walk through a number of prominent issues that marriages can face, as well as how to overcome those challenges biblically.
