1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 provide the biblical basis for characteristics of church leaders, with the ultimate example being Christ. Here at MVBC, we believe that church leaders must pattern their lives after Christ, and live in such a way as to be an example of faith to the church body (Hebrews 13:7).

BEAR MORTON
Senior Pastor
Greg "Bear" Morton is an Idaho native. Originally from the Boise area, Bear's passion for the Word of God led Him to get his graduate and post-graduate degrees from the Master's Seminary in 1996 and 2012 respectively. He accepted the call to Magic Valley Bible Church in 2000, and has been the shepherding pastor ever since.
Bear enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 kids, as well as refereeing football, basketball, and baseball. Some of his favorite books include The Mortification of Sin by John Owen, and Preachers and Preaching by Martin Lloyd Jones.
